This was the first ritual where the astral projected entity known as Doctor Brown participated.
It should be known that although Doctor Brown was present during this ritual, only three cosmic entities were/are to be present during a ceremonial ritual taking place.

Two members were coming down from a LSD induced journey through the cosmos when the ritual took place. The ritualistic trances The Wizard, The Warlock, and Annie S. had experienced during this session were undoubtedly potent.

This album features some newer instrumentation than other works.
This ritual was so powerful it tore open the great black abyss and liquid surged down from the sky in an amazing spectacle. The crackling you hear at the end of the album is what the ritual produced.
